Hi. I'm Kyle McCullough.
I'm a creative technologist on Prince Edward Island, Canada. Film school grad turned research director turned CTO. I've spent two decades at the boundary where computation meets human experience—broadcast TV, cinema, AAA games, defense simulation, and enterprise AI.
Before StereoVoid, I directed the Modeling & Simulation lab at USC's Institute for Creative Technologies—25 researchers, DoD research portfolio, two Best Paper awards, 266 citations. We built One World Terrain, the geospatial pipeline that automated continental-scale terrain generation for Army mission rehearsal. We pioneered synthetic data generation, graph neural networks for autonomous behavior, and early research streams in Gaussian Splatting and Transformers before either hit mainstream.
I've presented at GEOINT and NGA panels on operationalizing AI. I contributed to NASA's Artemis program—lunar exterior lighting design for South Pole exploration. I creative-directed a VR psychological thriller published by Ubisoft. I solo-built JoinDispatch, which hit 300K downloads and Apple's Game of the Day. Earlier: technology strategy for Studio Daniel Libeskind across Milan, Berlin, and Zurich.
StereoVoid is the computational research division of Brookside Agroforestry Research Center, a federally incorporated applied research organization based on PEI. Every project here is an experiment—the games and apps are just what the research looks like when it needs a face.
